It makes me proud that things that I think are funny, he thinks are funny too.

PS - If you try the eyes you'll probably have the weird feeling that you're being watched all day. Maybe you could cut out some eyebrows too and make them look angry. I wonder what it would be like to go the whole day feeling like a lamp was mad at you.

The girl in my kitchen I bought at a consignment store when Zach and I were first married. I don't know why I was so drawn to her, but she's been a part of our family for 6 years now! I'm sure she'll always be hanging around somewhere in our house. We can't make out the signature, but it's dated at 10/3/72. We like her. That's really all there is to it.
And yes, I'm considering painting our kitchen dark gray. I figure if it's gray and the cupboards are white then I can go kind of nuts with the decorations. And maybe paint the back door orange or something. But there's A LOT of work to do in the kitchen before it's as awesome as I'm imagining. For example - removing the carpet. Who carpets a kitchen!? AND a bathroom!! AND the front AND back porch!?! Yeah...
