hey girl

I don't really have much to say (plus, the boys are foraging in the cupboards because.... well, because they're boys and that's what they do if I don't put food in their mouths at the exact moment that they declare their hunger), so I'll make this quick.  The main reason I'm posting is because every time I get on here to check the updates on the blogs I read, I see that picture of me from prom night.  And it's blurry, and I don't look that great, and it's bothering me.  So I'm adding this one to make me much happier.  Because last night this actually happened (those of you who are friends with me on facebook already know, but still):

It was one of the most dreamy walks I've ever had.  All by myself.  Strolling around the neighborhood, listening to a story about love at first sight (that actually ended tragically, but it was still a really lovely story).  Every once in a while that man of mine knows exactly what I need. xoxo

p.s. I should correct myself here - if I was being more accurate the picture would say "Hey Girl Face". That's what Zachary refers to me as most of the time. ;)

(if you don't know what I'm referencing with the "hey girl" thing, see here.  There are tons of hey girl websites, but this one is my favorite.  Especially since my sister has submitted a few of them!  Way to go Jules!)

Oh, one more thing, on a completely unrelated note (the boys are distracted with the wii now so i've got a few more minutes).  Our dryer has been broken for the last week or so, so I've been washing our clothes here and then taking them to the laundromat down the street to dry them.  It sounds like a hassle, but I could totally get used to it.  I wash two (or more!) loads here, but can dry them there either in one big load together, or in separate machines at the same time.  Either way, they're all dry in about 30 minutes.  Then I sit there and fold them straight out of the machine and into our baskets and come home with clean, folded laundry.  Is it weird that I love that so much?  I went with the boys today, bought both of them a little bag of treats from the vending machines (Swedish Fish for Max, Mike & Ikes for Quinn) and nursed Ollie while they ate their treats and played around the laundromat.  Then for the last 15 minutes we sat in front of the machine and pointed out the clothes that we recognized rolling around inside.  They enjoyed it the most when I would say, "I see Max's underwear!!"  It was such a fun time, I'm kind of sad at the idea of getting the dryer fixed.
