you'll not see nothin' like the mighty quinn

Quinn is 4 today. So far, this is his favorite day ever.

Quinn's likes: Cars, tractors, playing at parks, throwing rocks in water, holding cats and birds, playing with friends, being tickled, and (in all honesty) watching tv.
Quinn's dislikes: Eating, having his hair combed, going to bed (recently), sitting in church, when Max stands in front of the tv, and when I sing theme songs from cartoons.

I know this is a lot of pictures for one post. And I know I didn't go to this extent of a "tribute" on Max's birthday. But who's counting? Besides, turning 4 is a big deal.

Here's a few shots of Quinn's life thus far:

One week early. 5 lbs, 8 oz, 17 in.

8 months old.

Those sweet curls. I hated cutting them. But he really did look like a girl.

This is the first time I realized Quinn wasn't just a cute little kid. He was a COOL little kid. It was a proud moment.

2 years old here.

One month ago. Serious about cotton candy.

Quinn's a bird whisperer. He said "I'm gonna go pet that bird Papa." And then he did.

And here's Quinn last week at the Stake Hoe Down:

Yet another proud moment to be the parents of such a cool little kid.
Happy birthday ya knuckle head. We love you.

Oh my gosh this is so great! I remember seeing some of these the one where he is squatting in the yard and the tree behind him...and thinking "Man this kid is going to be amazing!!"
Not to mention his great photo op at 8 months old.
You are lucky lucky parents. :)
