with my freeze ray I will stop the world

I could use some of that cake right now.
Let's see if I can write some things that won't denote what a ridiculous day it's been today:
I really like wearing different shades of blue at the same time.
I love Allison Janney. Like, a lot.
Quinn and I just took turns slapping each other with a belt. He thought it was hilarious. Guess I won't be using that as a punishment.
I didn't take my camera to the beach this year (I know, right!?) because it only holds a charge for about 30 frames and I didn't want to keep charging it over and over again. Plus I was going to buy one while we were there, but decided to wait for the Black Friday sales. That's why I don't have any pictures posted of our travels yet. They're on a USB on their way here.
This is what my bathroom has looked like since Saturday:
Love the tile. Love that there won't be carpet in there anymore. Love that we get to cross a huge thing off our list that we made when we moved in two years ago. Don't love that hole in the ground where our only toilet should be. Yeah. Since Saturday. It's Wednesday. I'm not complaining. I'm just saying.
Go look up Dr. Horrible's Sing-A-Long Blog on YouTube. You have to watch it in parts (obvious advice - Start on Act 1 Part 1). It'll change you're life. Here's a taste.
My sweet neighbor Margie just brought over warm rolls. Hallelujah, I'm not making dinner. And it's funny that she just randomly brought over rolls because probably an hour ago when I was thinking I may have the mental and physical capacities to make dinner I had this conversation with Quinn:
Quinn: Mama? Cook?
Me: Ok. What should I cook? Do you want me to make a chicken pot pie?
Quinn: Chicken pot pie? Pot pie?...... Margie pot pie? Cook Margie pot pie??
Me: No, I'm not making a Margie pot pie. That sounds disgusting.
Quinn: Mama cook Margie pot pie.
Don't worry, this is one of those times I'm definitely putting my foot down. I will not make a pot pie out of the old lady across the street. I don't care how badly I want him to eat dinner.
I'm really digging this picture right now. I think he probably had to reach down deep to pull out such emotion. Kind of a sober inturpretation of Beavis:

Just in the past two weeks we've learned something interesting - Max has a temper. That should be fun.
Zach's coming home in the next hour. He's thinking that when he comes home we're going to work on the tile. We're not. We're going to the pool. I need it. The boys need it. I may cry if it doesn't happen.
K, time to go make the house look happy. I don't think I accomplished my above goal....
Happy Hump Day anyway.

This post is awesome. YOU are awesome. Seriously. I am so glad that we got to talk at your house a few weeks ago. It really was very great conversation with you--sorry it was so late. I miss you all! Mostly you though..haha.

And I'm really glad you didn't make a pie out of your old lady neighbor. I think there are laws against that. :)

Dr. Horrible is awesome. You can watch the whole thing on Hulu. Sweet tile! Hope you have a potty soon!
